OMS curriculum development consultants are skilled in learning theories for both students and adults and can write curriculum and course materials for instructor-led training.
OMS can advise schools on curriculum revision and instruction strategies that will improve student outcomes and retention. We can provide everything from participant guides, to leader guides, to job aids and assessments.
- OMS will assess current training programs and determine whether the needs and expectations of learners are being met.
- Develop the appropriate amount of subject matter and materials for the training and the time allotted.

OMS conducts proficiency checks and technical assistance visits which measures and assesses the acquisition of knowledge and skills learned and implemented by the educators.
School leaders can arrange for a consultant to spend one – two days on campus several months after the professional development. The consultant will conduct walk throughs to assess the implementation of knowledge and skills learned and implemented.
On the first day, the consultant will observe as teachers conduct lessons and involve students in activities based on the workshop content. During the second day, the consultant will deliver additional training based on classroom observations and problems encountered by educators using the information learned from the professional development workshop. If additional time is needed, further conversations with school leaders and the consultant will take place identifying specific types of Instructional Support Services that will be provided.

OMS offers consulting services that will guide our clients from the beginning to the end of the licensing process for various programs in career and technical education. Whether you wish to establish a program of study encompassing the endorsements/16 career clusters, certifying a specific career and technical program, or developing a program of study that leads to industry certification, OMS can take the hassle out of the process. OMS’s consulting includes, but are not limited to:
- Development of School Program of Study that support a specific Career Cluster and all the necessary forms
